Wedding in Maui

I realize looking at wedding pictures of people you don't know isn't the greatest of fun, but too bad. Here are some of the pictures 'Chung took of the wedding in Maui.

The wedding site was gorgeous: a beautifully landscaped area on a sheer cliff overlooking the ocean with a waterfall nearby. We saw a few whales before he ceremony breeching and blowing in the distance.

The bride's dad helped her through a few rocky patches before walking her down the aisle.

A Hawaiian style ceremony was appropriate for the setting. The bride and groom were a little surprised when the minister suggested during the ceremony that they say some impromptu vows.

Releasing doves.

After the ceremony 'Chung took some pictures of the couple.

While one of the bridesmaids and I waited.

Eeewww.

Groom and his brother.

During a little champagne reception everyone had a chance to try and spot more whales.

Went to a beach for more pictures. 'Chung complained that the couple was too nervous around the camera.

So we tried to lighten things up.

Finally we headed to the dinner reception. (Bride walking with her grandmother.)

Part of the Irish contingent.

If you're ever in Maui, this restaurant had the best food we had all week...actually, the best food we've had all year...and definitely the best wedding food ever.

Wow! What great pictures! 'Chung is better than most "professional" photographers.
