Hurling
Last weekend we took Brembo to our friend's hurling match. Ever heard of hurling? Its an Irish sport, and our friend at Stanford is on one of the few intercollegiate teams in the US. In fact, this year their entire season consists of three matches against UC Berkeley (the only other local team). It's a lot of fun to watch, the two teams have built a decent sized fan base (for such a little-known sport), and Brembo loves running around on the field during halftime and after the game.
Stanford won, which we were happy for since our friend was on their team (he works there...there are both students and employees of the university on the team), but I don't think 'Chung would've been too disappointed UC Berkeley had won.
Brembo had a blast playing fetch and chasing people. Wish we'd gotten a picture of it, but there was a little boy, about 4 years old who was throwing her toy for her. She'd bring it back to him and he'd tell her to drop it. She'd drop it and he'd throw it again. They played until the puppy was completely worn out.
I even got her to stay still for a rare sitting picture.
The game was on Treasure Island. A few days before 'Chung also got the chance to take some pictures of San Francisco from Treasure Island (quaint name for such a generally run-down place)--I thought they were pretty.
Oh, I can't resist one more of the puppy. ;)

Oh she is so stinkin' cute!!! I love the pictures! And don't you just love it when they get worn out! We have a neighbor kid that brings his dog over and after they leave Diesel is pooped! It's awesome! I wish you lived close so our pups could play together. :)
Nothing quite like a worn out pooch! If we ever get a chance to drive through Utah, we'll have to get the dogs together.
:) We've gone to one Great Dane meetup so far (there's a group that meets about once a week around here, but so far the meetings have usually conflicted with her puppy class), and it's a trip seeing 10 or 12 Danes running around playing with eachother!
